Our Republican Legacy Names Katie LaPotin New South Carolina Chair

CHARLESTON, SC – Our Republican Legacy (ORL), a national effort to restore core conservative principles and responsible governance to the GOP, today announced Katie LaPotin as its new South Carolina Chair.

Katie is the Founder and President of Phoenix Rising Consulting, where she brings more than 15 years of experience supporting campaigns, nonprofits, and corporations with data-driven strategy and marketing solutions. Her work has helped shape successful polling programs, digital media efforts, and earned media campaigns for a range of political and corporate clients. She has also worked as a journalist and communications strategist.

Based in Charleston, Katie holds degrees from American University and the London School of Economics. She lives with her beagle — and Phoenix Rising’s Chief Canine Officer — Amalia Bella.

Former U.S. Senator John Danforth, founder of ORL, praised the appointment:
