Our Republican Legacy Appoints Richard Sansing as New Hampshire State Chair

CONCORD, N.H. — Our Republican Legacy (ORL) is proud to announce the appointment of Richard Sansing as the organization’s New Hampshire State Chair, strengthening the movement’s presence in the state that has long played a defining role in selecting the next generation of Republican presidential leaders.

During his distinguished academic career, he served as a professor at the Yale School of Management and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where his scholarship focused on taxation and public policy.

A principled lifelong conservative Republican, Sansing supported Governor John Kasich in 2016, Governor Bill Weld in 2020, and Ambassador Nikki Haley in 2024. As New Hampshire State Chair, he will lead ORL’s efforts to build grassroots support for the organization’s mission and to ensure the Granite State remains a home for constitutional, solutions-oriented conservatism heading into the pivotal 2028 Republican presidential nominating contest.

As New Hampshire State Chair, Sansing will work with grassroots volunteers, community leaders, and Republicans across the state to promote ORL’s five founding principles:

• The Constitution and Rule of Law — Defending the U.S. Constitution, accepting election outcomes, respecting court rulings, and supporting the peaceful transfer of power.

• The Union — Fostering a united nation and rejecting divisive rhetoric and tactics from both the political left and right.

• Fiscal Responsibility — Restoring a commitment to balanced budgets and confronting the growing national debt to protect future generations.

• Free Enterprise — Championing the private sector as the engine of economic growth while opposing excessive government intervention, price controls, and high protective tariffs.

• Peace Through Strength — Maintaining strong American leadership abroad and standing firmly alongside democratic allies against hostile authoritarian regimes.

With the 2028 Republican presidential nomination already beginning to take shape, ORL views New Hampshire as central to its mission of promoting a new generation of principled Republican leadership rooted in constitutional governance, responsible conservatism, and public service.
